German folding box industry
In spite of a 1.3% drop compared to 2013, Germany remained the leading folding box producer in Europe in 2014, ahead of Italy and the UK, according to the latest report from the German folding box industry association, Fachverband Faltschachtel-Industrie (FFI), released in July. The folding box industry produced a total of 839,368 tonnes last year, 11,000 tonnes less than in 2013. The value of production reached Euro 1.879 billion.
