News from the Turkish market 2016
One of this year’s highlights was the celebration of the 25th establishment anniversary of KASAD, which was celebrated on the 17th of February 2016 with a glorious gala dinner attended by the members of KASAD and guests. Founding members and quarter-century members were honoured.
Delegations of KASAD members visited Drupa and the ECMA Congress, and there were also joint visits to the board mills of Kartonsan and MEL.
KASAD also provides suppliers special ‘Introductory meetings’ to present their company and product portfolio to the members of KASAD. In 2016 KASAD organised four of these meetings.
Cartonboard Packagıng News On Bloomberg TV
The folding carton industry in Turkey is in the centre of attention. KASAD President Alican Duran and Board Member Özcan Kilimci even participated in conversation about ‘Cartonboard Packaging’ on 22 October 2016 at Bloomberg TV.
When it comes to M&A activity there is much going on in Turkey with many acquisitions, also by big multinational companies expanding their footprint on the Turkish market.
